This is one of my signature paintings. It has several primers, kind of like a sample for the big show. Once the layers have dried, I use a special mixture of acrylic, gel medium and water to keep the black paint moist. Because the last step takes about two hours.
I dance with my hands and a silicone curtain on the screen, build patterns and destroy them again until I reach my goal. A secular act, symbolic of creation and destruction. Music plays a decisive role in this, without it I could not create these works at all. And it only works with a certain kind of music in my ears (e.g. Nik Bärtsch or Austin Peralta). Every work is unique.
