«I didn’t understand anything but now I know»
A tribute to the 1111 Monday concert by Zurich musician Nik Bärtsch. His music helps me to let go and accept without reservation, especially when I create art.
The Painting is a composition from two of my series (Halo and Unveiling the paradox). A scribble that hides supposed messages, which are nonsense. Above it, a halo that originates with great precision, gets lost during the process and finally harmonizes again.
The message: A big life topic is to let go. The music of Nik Bärtsch helps me because as a layman I do not understand what «Technical and musical» is going on. And yet I accept this almost unconditionally, because it causes me a sense of knowledge and understanding despite complexity. We should all listen more to ourselves, accept things and let go. This opens the horizon for unexpected inspiration.
